It has been chucking buckets the last few days, much to the glee of the denizens in my garden. During my inspection today, I found strawberries…

They were so sweet that they were awesome!

Oh look, Mini sMapps! Peeaaaaaaaas!!

They were so sweet that they tasted like someone has injected them with sugar water. Don’t worry Mini sMapps, plenty more where they came from.

Last, but not least… the blackcurrant.

They were sweet, but… hmm… quite an interesting tasting fruit. I have to say, they taste nothing like ribena… at all!

We want peas and strawberries. Sniff. Must find you a blackcurrant recipe – not sure they are a fruit that do well eaten alone and raw. Mini sMapps will be excited. Very excited. Maybe we should come back earlier – sneak into your garden and feast.

Mini sMapps is back in 2 weeks to feast in your garden. Save some for us! I think blackcurrants are best cooked – think cheesecake topping.

Mini sMapps wants pictures of the other veggies in the garden. Keeps muttering about onions. No idea why. Sorry about the multiple crazy replies….blame the Muks blog
