We have finally done it.
On this rather sad day, I have finally sold Minty.
I patted her on her bonnet and said goodbye…
And then I sat in her for one last time…
And waved to her as she was driven away…
*sobs* My first car, paid for by my own money. We have spent good long years together, pelting up and down the motorway during my auditing days.
It is indeed, the end of an era. Me sad.

Why must she go?
Well, we’ve probably used her 3 times the last year and 5 times the year before that. The lack of use made her unreliable, so we became even less inclined to use her. It’s still sad though.
It does feel really weird to not have her around to “block the view” into the living room… like we lost a curtain.
very expensive curtain….
Bye Minty, I remember trying to park her on a slope, quite a challenge, I must say.
Hehe! Poor Minty. She had such a lot of parking challenges.
Doesn’t it seem strange that there is nothing parked outside the house?
It does! How do I tell how cold is it outside when I can’t see how icy Minty is?
In our house – if you feel cold inside then it is really cold outside. There is no warmth here!
